Rossy of AyR Galaxy is a beauty blogger I consider not just an acquaintance, but at this point, a friend in the blogging world. She is the sweetest person and an absolutely gorgeous blogger! Check her out and send her some love (blog link here). Let’s do a collab soon Rossy!
So she nominated me for the One Lovely Blog Award. I mean, come on! Being nominated as a Lovely Blog! I am elated!
Anyway, here are the rules;
- Each nominee must thank the person who nominated them (including a link to their blog). They must list the rules and post the blog award badge in the post.
- They must add 7 facts about themself.
- They must nominate 15 other bloggers and notify them that they have been nominated
I nominate all of you to receive this award!!!!!!! *applause*
My 7 facts;
- In addition to musophobia, I also have tryphobia and as someone who loves SFX makeup I get freaked out when they sneak that kind of makeup on you.
- I cannot eat porridge! I have tried and here’s how it goes, 1st spoonful, mmmmppphhh delicious, 2nd spoonful, that tastes a little slimy, 3rd spoonful, I need to puke!
- I once lost 15kgs (approximately 33 pounds) in my mid 20s. It was when I had looked my BEST!
- I wear a rudraksha locket; a type of seed that is known as the teardrops of Shiva.
- Yes, I am Hindu.
- No, I don’t prescribe to every Hindu norm because there isn’t really a lot of black and white or definitive rules in Hinduism which is why it is often also referred to as a way of life instead of it as a religion. Although Indians as a community is notorious for being conservative, sometimes even bordering on archaic, Hinduism is far from it!
- I don’t know if I have shared this but I have five piercings; 4 on the left ear and another on my right.

Thanks Steph! 😀
Ooooo, but I love pudding… 😛

I put pudding and other foods of the same consistency into what I can the “soft foods category” of things I won’t eat. It’s rather ridiculous I know, but I’m somewhat of an overgrown picky eater-just pathetic. 😉

I think it’s so cool that you are Hindu! I remember studying Hinduism in school and I adore the religion as a whole. At the end of the day, it’s about being a good person (which is something many religions claim, but not something that they all practice).

I am proud too! There’s a vast sea of knowledge to learn and explore! I guess the very basis of Hinduism is karma. The very simple yet poignant concept of cause and effect.

Oh gawd, you made me google “tryphobia” and now I’m scarred for life! 😥
Hinduism is so fascinating to me. It’s such a personal belief system – very difficult to define. I especially love learning about all the deities. 🙂
Congrats on your milestones! Well done!

I actually never knew I was tryphobic until someone shared some pictures that gave me nightmares for days. I looked into it and found out about it being a real phobia.
Hindus ultimately believe in karma! Cause and effect! It is that simple! Oh yes, the deities can provide ardent staunch believers real experiences. Even I have had them!
Thank you Stashy!!!! ❤

Thank you love! 😀 😀 😀
I do because being a scientist, I only work in a lab. The only time I take them out is when I attend conferences and if I am presenting a paper at a seminar or a conference.

I see. Your job must be pretty cool then! Scientist by day, makeup guru by night haha. How long have you had them & And do you plan to add any more?

Hahaha, my job is pretty cool! That makes me sound like some kind of a superhero!
I actually pierced them individually over time. The last I did was about 4 years ago I think. I am on the verge of adding another but my piercings have always been out of impulse. Split second decisions I made when I was terribly depressed or absolutely at peace. I am feeling more of the latter now so it is just about time to get another. 😛 😛 😛
