Makeup Hack; Using Products That Don’t Work

Before I start, let me give you a bonus hack, if a makeup remover is too harsh or doesn’t work properly, use them to cleanse off hand swatches (of course this would only apply if you do that a lot, like me)!

Moving on, this hack is perhaps the most obvious one ever, use toners which do not work for you (especially alcohol based ones) to clean your makeup. It is as simple as that!!!

That’s the post! That’s all.

The rest are all pictures on how I do it…

The product I am using which I stopped using for its real purpose. This has alcohol in it which is very effective!

I stopped using this toner because it dried my skin out. It has alcohol in it which is advantageous for this hack (but sadly disadvantageous for my skin; post here).

This is the palette I'm using which is the original Maybelline The Nudes palette.

The dirty palette; the original Maybelline The Nudes. Look at all that specks of shadow!

This is sealer sticker residue. Eughh!

More sealing sticker residue.

SO how you ask? Just keep seeing!

Pour it into a sponge or even a tissue paper.

Wipe!

Wipe!

For those harder to reach parts. Cotton buds!

Eh voila! Clean palette!

Clean!

  1. This hack is great – I like keeping my makeup cases clean too.
Another option for makeup removers that don’t work on your face – you can use them to clean brushes, especially the ones that were used for gel liners, concealer and foundation!
