NYX HD Studio Photogenic Concealer Review (CW 07)

I love NYX Cosmetics!!! It’s too bad that Sephora Malaysia doesn’t carry the brand anymore and since it was only sold in Sephora in Penang, I don’t have access to the brand unless I travel to KL… That’s supposedly easily remedied; online shopping. Unfortunately I hate online shopping. I digress…

The product.
Shade name and code.
Ingredients list.
Comes with a doe-foot applicator.
Swatch. Ignore the blurred out swatch. That was for another review. It looks darker than my skin tone here but on my face it blends in pretty well. Especially with the powder I typically use to set it with…

Description: Concealer that comes in 0.11 oz. or 3 grams of product.

Ingredients:
WATER/AQUA/EAU, TRIMETHYLSILOXYPHENYL DIMETHICONE, TRIMETHYLSILOXYSILICATE, GLYCERIN, SILICA, ISONONYL ISONONANOATE, SORBITAN OLIVATE, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, COCOS NUCIFERA (COCONUT) OIL, ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, TRIETHOXYCAPRYLYLSILANE, EUPHORBIA CERIFERA (CANDELILLA) WAX/CANDELILLA CERA/CIRE DE CANDELILLA, XANTHAN GUM, ALUMINA, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, PHENOXYETHANOL. MAY CONTAIN / PEUT CONTENIR (+/-): TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891), IRON OXIDES (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), MANGANESE VIOLET (CI 77742), ULTRAMARINES (CI 77007), CHROMIUM HYDROXIDE GREEN (CI 77289), CHROMIUM OXIDE GREENS (CI 77288), YELLOW 5 LAKE (CI 19140)

Where to buy: Limited stores available (check out their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/nyxcosmeticsmalaysia/) and online (Shopee and Hermo are two options).

Price: HIGHLY depends on where you’re buying. I would HIGHLY recommend you purchase from the NYX Stores in Kuala Lumpur because they carry 12 shades (not quite enough but I guess it’ll have to work) and it’s priced at MYR 26.
Shopee (MYR 29), Lazada (MYR 20.80); both online stores only carry 3 or 4 light shades. I purchased mine from Sephora (redundant at the moment but it cost me MYR 20.80; original price MYR 28).

Wear test…

Freshly applied. Again, ignore the blurred half, that’s for another review… 🙂
After about 8 hours of wear. Wasn’t particularly sweating or anything.

Pros:
> Applies smoothly.
> It doesn’t crease (this does depend a tiny bit on the setting powder used).
> Pretty good shade range (there’s 20 shades in total;
just not here in Malaysia, we have 12, AT MOST, here in Malaysia)
> Pigmented and opaque.
> No caking even when layered.
> As evident, very long lasting!

Cons:
> No more easily available here in Malaysia (and the online options are SO limited).
> The product separates a little when in the tube so I have to vigorously shake it up every time I want to use it (hoping this is just my first tube).
> You get only 3 grams of product for the price so I’d consider it not entirely affordable (WOW, I’m such a cheapo!).

Rating: 9.2/10
I love this concealer but I do wish it was more accessible here in Malaysia. I love it so much that I got backup when it was on sale.

L.A. Girl HD Pro.Conceal Concealer Review (Fawn)

Wow, with the new background comes some new firsts! The previous review was my first time reviewing Zoeva and now it is my first time reviewing a concealer! The product I own was gifted to me by a very close friend who also happens to be a fellow blogger, Lakshmi of Big is Compatible (link here).

The product.
Ingredients and shade name.
Product from the US of A and made in China!
It has a brush tip! That’s cool! It does end up looking a little icky if not cleaned.
Swatch… Ignore the blurred patch (it’s for a different review).

Where to buy: Online at L.A. Girl Malaysia (link here) and also a very limited amount of booths in Play Up and Parksons (check the website under “LOCATE US”).

Price: MYR 30 (from L.A. Girl Malaysia official website)

Wear test…

Freshly applied. Again, ignore the blurred half, that’s for another review… 🙂
After about 7 hours of wear. Wasn’t particularly sweating or anything. I’ve tried it on a hot and humid day and I was sweating and it performed just as well..

Pros:
> Applies smoothly.
> It doesn’t crease (this does depend a tiny bit on the setting powder used).
> Pigmented and opaque.
> I am partial to the packaging, because like toothpaste I can squeeze it to completion.
> WIDE shade range (VERY dark skin friendly).
> No caking even when layered.
> As evident, very long lasting!

Cons:
> The tip can get a tiny bit messy.
> Not easily available here in Malaysia.
> Price is steep considering it is just USD 5 in the US of A.

Rating: 9.3/10
I love this concealer. If you can get it at any less than MYR 30, then do grab it!

Zoeva 227 Luxe Soft Definer/ Blender Brush Review

Founded by Zoe Boikou, Zoeva as a brand began with only a line of makeup brushes which has now expanded to eyeshadows, lipsticks, and even blushers and highlighters. This is a review of a single brush, namely the 227 blending brush.

The brush. (I LOVE MY NEW BACKGROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
The cardboard inside has some information on the brush.
Excellent packaging. Definitely made me feel like I purchased something high end.
The handle with the brand and product code engraved.
Bristles up close.
It is slightly flatten with bristles that are frayed out to allow good eyeshadow blending.

Description:
Makeup brush intended for eyeshadow blending.
Bristles: Mix of natural (goat hair) and synthetic
Ferrule: Brass
Handle: Wood (lacquered six times)

Price: MYR 59

Where to buy: Sephora outlets nationwide and online at sephora.my

Pros:
> The brush feels and works like a high-end makeup brush.
> Extremely sturdy and durable.
> Blends out eyeshadow beautifully!
> Having had it for a couple of years, traveled with it and also used and washed it so many times, it looks almost as good as new as evident from the pictures.
> Soft bristles.

Cons:
> Did initially shed a little but when it stopped shedding, it stopped for good.
> Price isn’t affordable but the brush is definitely worth the price.
> Natural bristles require more care than synthetic brushes.

Rating: 9.1/10
I LOVE THIS BRUSH! I actually wanted to test out Zoeva as a brand and so I purchased the brush that I had only one of in my collection at that time (an eyeshadow blending brush). Definitely worth the money spent! I am actually eyeing a classic set. If you’re a makeup artist or simply just love makeup, it is definitely worth investing in it!

Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Press Powder Review

Second Rimmel review! I loved the previous product (Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal – link here) and let’s see if I love this too. Today, I review the often talked about Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder in the shade 010 Warm Honey.

The product. Very simple packaging.

Product inside.

Description on the back.

A closer look.

Swatch. About half a shade lighter than my skin tone.

Description: Pressed powder that comes in 14 grams or 0.49 oz of product. Here in Malaysia there are about 6 shades which is pretty good because I believe 010 is one of the darkest! Sure enough, 010 is difficult to find because it seems to be sold out.

Ingredients:

TALC, MICA, MAGNESIUM STEARATE, POLYETHYLENE, PETROLATUM, PHENYL TRIMETHICONE, DIMETHICONE, POLYBUTENE, ISOSTEARYL NEOPENTANOATE, ETHYLHEXYL METHOXYCINNAMATE, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, METHYLPARABEN, COCOS NUCIFERA (COCONUT) OIL, PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM/MINERAL OIL/HUILE MINERALE, PROPYLPARABEN, ZINC OXIDE, PARFUM/FRAGRANCE, ALOE BARBADENSIS, POLYSORBATE 20, BHT, BUTYLPHENYL METHYLPROPIONAL, BENZYL SALICYLATE, CITRONELLOL, HEXYL CINNAMAL, HYDROXYISOHEXYL 3-CYCLOHEXENE CARBOXALDEHYDE, LINALOOL, BUTYLPARABEN. [MAY CONTAIN/PEUT CONTENIR/+/-: TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891), IRON OXIDES (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), ULTRAMARINES (CI 77007).

Where to buy: Selected Guardian and Watsons nationwide.

Price: MYR 14.90 (at this price, waiting for a promotion isn’t even necessary!)

Wear test.

Freshly applied. I used this only under the eyes because it is too light to use all over the face (yes, picture reused from my Maybelline Fit Me foundation review, link here).

After about six hours of wear. The under eyes have stayed almost perfect!

Pros:

Smooth velvety powder.

Easy to apply and blend.

Lives up to the name! It stays matte all day!

CHEAP!

Does not look heavy or cakey with proper application.

Lasts very well on the skin!

Comfortable to wear.

Cons:

Can settle into lines if over applied.

Darker shades of this powder would be perfection. It actually does come in deeper shades but this is the deepest one available here in Malaysia.

Packaging is very flimsy.

No powder puff or sponge.

Can cause flashback if over applied.

Rating: 9.1/10

In spite of the Cons, I LOVE this powder and am giving it a high rating. By the way, I already have a backup, enough said.

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser Review

Oh, another Maybelline review. What can I say, I love a lot of products from the brand. It is perhaps the first makeup brand people know here in Malaysia and today I review the Baby Skin primer.

The product. Comes in an outer plastic box.

Ingredients list and some instruction on the side of the box.

Ingredients list.

The tube.

The product. Clear silicone-y primer.

Blended out. It does fill up the pores and blur the skin as seen here.

Description: A dimethicone and silicone based primer that comes in 22ml product.

Ingredients: DIMETHICONE, DIMETHICONE CROSSPOLYMER, STEARYL HEPTANOATE, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, SILICA SILYLATE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRAISOSTEARATE, PRUNUS CERASUS EXTRACT / BITTER CHERRY EXTRACT [+/- MAY CONTAIN / PEUT CONTENIR CI 73360 / RED 30 CI 77492 / IRON OXIDES]

Where to buy: Major pharmacies/drugstores nationwide.

Price: MYR 28.21

Wear test.

No primer.

With primer.

After about 7 hours.

I used it with the Maybelline Fit Me foundation, keeping with the brand. No primer side.

Primed side.

It isn’t so apparent in the picture but the side of the primer did break apart while the unprimed side stayed intact. What is obvious from the picture is the primed side is way oilier than the unprimed side.

Pros:

It does fill up pores.

It does blur skin texture.

Generous amount of product for the price.

Cons:

As evident, it didn’t hold up even with my not so oily skin.

Foundation breaks apart and patches of skin shows through when facial oils come through.

It moves too much underneath the foundation and so the foundation does not sit well.

The scent is nauseating to me.

Feels rather uncomfortable on the skin to me.

Rating: 6/10

One expression; ‘meh’. Such a ‘meh’ product. Had it for over a year and it is not even a quarter used.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk Review

NYX has products I absolutely love not just because they’re the single most affordable brand in Sephora but because they truly have some amazing products. The two products I’ve previously reviewed here, I absolutely love!

Previous NYX product reviews links:

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream (04, London) Review

NYX Powder Blush (PB01, Mocha) Review

This review is on the NYX Jumbo Pencil in 604, Milk.

The product.

Description and ingredients.

Swatch.

It isn’t an eyeliner that typically sets down and does not move. It stays creamy unless set with powder. That’s not a bad thing. It makes for a great base to press corresponding eyeshadow on.

Description: A jumbo pencil that comes in a variety of shades and in 5grams of product.

Ingredients: ISONONYL ISONONANOATE, OCTYLDODECANOL, ETHYLHEXYL PALMITATE, ISOSTEARYL ISOSTEARATE, EUPHORBIA CERIFERA (CANDELILLA) WAX / EUPHORBIA CERIFERA CERA / CIRE DE CANDELILLA, CERESIN, MICROCRYSTALLINE WAX / CERA MICROCRISTALLINA / CIRE MICROCRISTALLINE, COPERNICIA CERIFERA (CARNAUBA) WAX / COPERNICIA CERIFERA CERA / CIRE DE CARNAUBA, POLYETHYLENE, BEESWAX / CERA ALBA / CIRE D’ABEILLE, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, BHA, BUTYLPARABEN, ISOBUTYLPARABEN, ISOPROPYLPARABEN. MAY CONTAIN (+/-): MICA, TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891), IRON OXIDES (CI 77491, 77492, 77499), CARMINE (CI 75470), CHROMIUM OXIDE GREEN (CI 77288), ULTRAMARINES (CI 77007), FERRIC FERROCYANIDE (CI 77510), BLUE 1 LAKE (CI 42090), YELLOW 5 LAKE (CI 19140).

Where to buy: Sephora stores nationwide and in the NYX Malaysia professional stores (you can find locations to the stores here). There are also various online options.

Price: MYR 26

I used the product to create my 2016 Halloween look.

Pros:

Very pigmented!

Very opaque!

Blends easily.

Creamy and glides on very easily!

Pretty affordable considering it’s sold in Sephora.

Cons:

Sharpening it is a PAIN!

Note: These don’t set like a typical eyeliner but I do believe they weren’t meant to. They would make a great eyeshadow base. And to set it in place would be just to use a white eyeshadow.

Rating: 8.6/10

I love this particular eye pencil but this particular colour isn’t exactly something practical. Perhaps a different colour would serve as a wonderful cream eyeshadow.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal in 005 Nude

This is my first Rimmel product review and I am excited! After Essence, there’s a competitor in town with dirt cheap prices! Started in 1834, it also is one of the oldest makeup brands still available today. A London based company whose products are made in the European Union, I am surprised they have managed to keep their prices so low. AND, one of their foundation line runs two shades deeper than mine!!! TWO SHADES DARKER THAN MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AT MALAYSIAN DRUGSTORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today’s product, I got from Guardian on sale for MYR 5!!! 5 bucks! So anyway, here’s the review!

The pencil. Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal.

Some description. Product is made in France.

Description: Waterproof kohl eyeliner that comes in a variety of shades and in 1.3 grams or 0.04 oz of product. This one in particular is in the shade 005 Nude.

Ingredients: ISODODECANE, TRIMETHYLSILOXYSILICATE, DIMETHICONE, SYNTHETIC WAX, POLYETHYLENE, POLYBUTENE, SYNTHETIC FLUORPHLOGOPITE, SILICA, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, POLYGLYCERYL-4 DIISOSTEARATE/POLYHYDROXYSTEARATE/SEBACATE, POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE, CALCIUM ALUMINUM BOROSILICATE, TALC, STEARALKONIUM HECTORITE, PROPYLENE CARBONATE, TIN OXIDE, POLYURETHANE-11, [MAY CONTAIN/PEUT CONTENIR/+/-:IRON OXIDES (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891), MANGANESE VIOLET (CI 77742), MICA, CARMINE (CI 75470), FERRIC AMMONIUM FERROCYANIDE (CI 77510), ULTRAMARINES (CI 77007), FERRIC FERROCYANIDE (CI 77510), ALUMINUM POWDER (CI 77000), FD&C YELLOW NO. 5 ALUMINUM LAKE (CI 19140), FD&C BLUE NO. 1 ALUMINUM LAKE (CI 42090), CHROMIUM OXIDE GREENS (CI 77288)].

Where to buy: Guardian and Watsons nationwide.

Price: MYR 10.30 (just try it out! 10 bucks isn’t much to lose)

Swatch (I don’t really have an eye makeup look to show but this liner is amazing!).

Pros:

Extremely creamy and glides on smoothly.

CHEAP!

Pigmented.

Very long lasting!

Very good colour selection.

Cons:

This shade in particular is not completely opaque so a couple of swipes are needed.

Sharpening! Ugh!

Rating: 8.3/10

I am kinda blown away that I got this for only MYR 5! Do give it a go!

Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless Foundation Review

This isn’t my first Maybelline review. All my other reviews are linked below so you can read up on the brand (which if you don’t already know of, what are you doing on a makeup blog?).

Other reviews;

I waited this long to review it because, like the glorious cheapskate I am, I had to wait for the price to dip at least 50% off before I purchased. And I did! One at 50% and the other at 60% off!!! I LOVE IT!!!

The two shades I own.

Description on the back of the bottle. Funny enough, one is made in U.S.A and the other made in China.

Even the description is laid out differently.

One peels off to reveal only ingredients (made in China), and the other peels off to reveal some descriptions (made in USA).

Ingredient list. They are identical.

So I reached out to Loreal Malaysia about the discrepancy in sourcing the products. Why is the same product Made in China and Made in USA, and here’s their response.

Here are some hand swatches.

Hand swatch. The left is 338 (spicy brown) and the right is 332 (golden caramel).

I typically mix the two shades. 338 has too much red in it and 332 is a shade lighter than mine. Mixing the two makes a perfect match.

Description: Liquid foundation that comes in 30ml or 1 fl. oz. Although the original line from Maybelline carries up to 380 Espresso, the darkest available shade in Malaysia is ONLY up to 338 Spicy Brown (unless you purchase online or Instagram shops). Just to bring to light, there’s 340, 355, 356, 358, 360, 362, 365, 368, 370, 375, AND 380! That’s almost half the shades NOT available here in Malaysia! Perhaps there just aren’t enough melanin skinned people here in Malaysia to bring those shades in. Medium to full coverage, matte finish.

Ingrdients: Aqua, Cyclohexasiloxane, Nylon-12, Isododecane, Alcohol Denat, Cyclopentasiloxane, Peg-10 Dimethicone, Cetyl Peg/Ppg-10/1 Dimethicone, Peg-20, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Phenoxyethanol, Magnesium Sulfate, Disodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Hdi/Trimethylol Hexyllactone Crosspolymer, Titanium Dioxide, Methylparaben, Acrylates Copolymer, Tocopherol, Butylparaben, Aluminum Hydroxide, Alumina, Silica. Glycerin, [May Contain Ci 77891 / Titanium Dioxide Ci 77491, Ci 77492, Ci 77499 / Iron Oxides]

Price: MYR 49.90

Where to buy: Anywhere there’s a Maybelline display, Watsons, Guardian, Caring, Aeon etc.

Wear test

Freshly applied makeup.

After about six hours of wear. You can see facial oils coming through but that happens with most foundations.

Pros:

True to claim, medium to full coverage. Buildable.

Feels light on the skin.

Doesn’t settle into lines.

Even with the dismal shade range available here in Malaysia, this is perhaps the only line of foundation that runs this deep (yes, if you’re dark skinned in Malaysia, there are NO drugstore options).

Doesn’t seem cakey.

For something so matte, it surprisingly looks pretty natural if not layered up too much.

Doesn’t just melt off with sweating.

Only after about 4 hours of wear, facial oils peek through which in my case is great.

Cons:

No pump!

If you have dry skin, this is NOT the foundation for you because it tend to grab a tiny bit on to dry patches.

Doesn’t really reduce appearance of pores (not on me at least).

Note: Although claims to keep the face matte, it doesn’t really do that for too long. But at the same time getting oily, if you’re someone with combination skin, is inevitable, so it’s not really an issue. This foundation touches up perfectly well. Just going over the face with a blotting paper and touching up with powder revives it back to almost new. If you have oily to really oily skin, the foundation tends to break apart as the oils come through but not in patches, so touching up just revives it!

Rating: 8.4/10

I love this foundation BUT I don’t think I’d repurchase because if I did, I repurchase my beloved Sephora foundation which is actually Tati approved (link here). I do want to try out other foundations.

Essence Mosaic Blush Review

It’s no secret that I love Essence as a brand. So naturally I’ve reviewed products from the brand in the past and a lot of my favourite products come from the brand.

Today I review the Essence Mosaic Blush in the shade 30 kissed by the sun.

The product.

The description on mine tore off because of a tab that was stuck to the bottom! UGHH!!!! Next pic is a clear one.

I guess that’s why it is called a mosaic blush; the pattern on the product surface. Not all the mosaics are the same colour. There are three different colours, a light brown and an orange shade both with a pearlescent finish interspersed with light orange slightly shimmery shade.

Hand swatch. I tried swatching each of the mosaic shade individually but on my skin the difference wasn’t apparent.

Description: A powder blush that comes in several shades  and in 4.5 grams of products or 0.15 oz of product (availability is a question and this will be updated; Essence Malaysia did reply to a customer that product is being restocked).

Ingredients: TALC, MICA, SYNTHETIC FLUORPHLOGOPITE, MAGNESIUM STEARATE, OCTYLDODECYL STEAROYL STEARATE, BORON NITRIDE, DIISOSTEARYL MALATE, HYDROGENATED POLYISOBUTENE, p-ANISIC ACID, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, HEXYLENE GLYCOL, SILICA, MALTODEXTRIN, TIN OXIDE, AQUA (WATER), PHENOXYETHANOL, BENZYL ALCOHOL, DEHYDROACETIC ACID, MAY CONTAIN: CI 75470 (CARMINE), CI 77491 (IRON OXIDES), CI 77499 (IRON OXIDES), CI 77742 (MANGANESE VIOLET), CI 77891 (TITANIUM DIOXIDE).

Where to buy: Watsons stores nationwide

Price: MYR 15.90

I have a pic below where the product was used.

I didn’t actually use it for it’s intended purpose. I used it as a highlight. And that is typically how I use it anyway.

Pros:

Lovely shade and gorgeous effect.

Blends out well.

Not too shiny to be used all over the cheek.

Good price for amount of product.

Cons:

A tiny bit powdery.

It does fade off pretty easily which starts at about 3 to 4 hour wear.

This particular shade isn’t really pigmented because the colour doesn’t really show up, even on swatches (unless you are really light skinned).

Rating:

8.1/10

I love this product. I can get away with a tiny amount of this as highlighter during day time.

Ecotools Six Piece Essential Eye Set Review

[UPDATED REVIEW]

This particular set of brushes are no more available but they do have similar ones derived from the same materials. This review serves as a testament to how good these brushes are because I have had them since 2014.

Ecotools is not that popular a brand in Malaysia simply due to the fact that it is not widely available, however, they aren’t as elusive as I am making them out to be. I love their concept due to their reverence for the environment and being 100% cruelty-free. They do have a website at https://www.ecotools.com/. Let’s take a look at their six piece essential eye brush set.

In this updated review I am attaching some of the older pictures because there are some comparisons to be made. And the bag that the brushes came in, I gave to my mother.

The brushes.

[Picture retrieved from original post]. The sixth piece was the bag itself.

This is the Large Eye brush. It is also the largest brush in the set. According to the instructions on the cardboard cover, it could be used to blend a base eyeshadow all over the entire eyelid.

This is the Angled Crease brush. It is the second largest brush. According to the instructions it is to add definition to the crease of the eye and as you can see the bristles are cut at an angle.

This is the Highlighting brush. The instructions say that is to accentuate the brow bone and inner corner of the eyes.

This is the Petite Eye Shading brush. The instructions say that it is to add accent colour.

The last and the tiniest one is the Smudge brush and according to instructions it is to smudge shadow and liner along the lash line.

I also have pictures of the bristles up close.

Large Eye Brush. Pretty densely packed slightly flat with a dome shape.

Angled Crease. Cut at an angle and as densely packed as the Large Eye brush.

Highlighting. This is more loosely packed and instead of its intended purpose I like using it to blend eyeshadows.

Petite Eye Shading. Small brush and resembles a tiny version of a eyeshadow brush that is used to press shadow onto the lids.

Smudge. Tiny brush that resembles a small pencil brush; perfect for its intended use

Description;

Bristles: Synthetic taklon (cruelty free bristles; taklon is most commonly used for making soft brushes). Each brush bristle shape and use have been described under each picture. The brushes are travel size (I’ll add a comparison picture below).

Ferrule: Aluminum, recycled.

Handle: Bamboo (it is an environmentally friendly source of material).

Price: MYR 70 (price is irrelevant for this post, but at the moment, the price for a set similar to this is MYR 99 at Shins).

Where to buy: SHINS outlets nationwide and they also have a website where you could order online at http://www.shins.my/. SHINS is also available in Sarawak, East Malaysia.

The comparatively similar one I could find on Shins is this one:-

https://shins.my/products/EcoTools-6pc-Eye-Brush-Collection–1227-[ECO717]/3546

A few comparison shots.

The engraving on the handles have faded off.

Initial post.

Current state. The Ecotools logo has almost completely faded.

Comparison with a normal size brush.

Pros:

They are environmentally friendly AND cruelty-free.

Extremely sturdy. I have used, washed and cleansed these brushes very often!

Travel-friendly.

Affordable.

Almost no shedding!

At just about 4 years old, the brushes are going strong! So I am bumping up the rating.

Cons:

Not all the brushes are soft.  The smaller ones tend to feel a little scratchy on the eyelids.

The shorter handles can be an issue.

Ratings:

8.7/10

I love them although I don’t use each brush for their intent purposes. They are also a YouTube fave.
